My name is Ziyad Bachalany. Since 2014, I've been building websites and tools for my own businesses. Today, I'm doing the same for yours.
The route, in brief
I earned a Master's degree in International Strategic Management from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, followed by a stint in the press (as a project manager for the general management of Metronews) and in education (as a social media instructor at Sup de Pub / INSEEC). It was there that I learned to explain digital marketing to people who don't have the time to delve into it.
In 2014, I opened the first one with my brother Libshop, a Lebanese restaurant in Paris. There will be four, plus a central kitchen and a catering service. For over ten years, I managed the teams, payroll, suppliers, banks, renovations, and the website. Everything a business owner has to do in addition to their core business.
It was while searching for tools for my own restaurants that I started building them myself on WordPress: inventory management, supplier orders, dashboards. They became TulipWork, a software sold by subscription to restaurants in Europe and North America. In parallel, I published several extensions on WordPress.org, one of which is installed on thousands of sites.
Tulipe Media is the name I've given to this web consulting and design business from the beginning. This website has been its logbook since 2014: WordPress, SEO, business management, restaurants. The topics are broad because my career path is too.
What this changes for you
- I understand your profession before I understand your website. I've been a client of web service providers, I've received illegible quotes and websites that were impossible to modify. I'm doing the opposite.
- I build what I exploit. My websites receive customers and orders every day. I know what lasts and what breaks at the first traffic spike.
- I'm talking about money, straight up. Prices are displayed on the Services page. The quote is one page long. There are no hidden "starting from" amounts.
- I remain reachable. A website is never finished on the day it goes live. I'm still here afterwards.
How I work
Native WordPress, without a proprietary page builder. Managed French hosting. Lightweight, fast websites that you can edit yourself after an hour of training. And one simple rule: if I think a solution other than WordPress would be a better fit for you, I'll tell you during the first call.
I work in French and English, remotely or in Paris.
