After my Askoll test<\/a><\/strong>, Here is my opinion on the LVNENG S5 from LVNENG<\/a><\/strong>, A a little technological marvel<\/strong> imported from Asia, and which displays a battery life that is virtually unmatched so far for the price<\/strong>, and above all, an unbeatable quality\/autonomy\/price ratio so far, more than 5 years after buying it.<\/p>\n

This is the store Urban360<\/strong> (unfortunately closed today) which had allowed me to purchase this scooter in 2020, and today, eIn 2025, I still have the same vehicle, which hasn't aged a day and costs me almost nothing in maintenance and repairs.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The LVNENG S5 remains the most cost-effective scooter I've ever bought, and yet, having worked in home meal delivery, I've had the opportunity to test nearly ten different brands, and this one remains the best in my opinion. Especially since most European brands resulted in numerous breakdowns, whereas this Chinese scooter has only experienced one minor issue in the space of five years\u2026<\/p>\n

Since then, the LVNENG brand no longer sells this model, but It has, of course, renewed its range with new, even more powerful scooters.<\/a>, and which are still just as recommendable.<\/p>\n

This test from 2020 therefore gives you a good idea of the seriousness of this Chinese brand founded in 1999, based in Changzhou, 160 km from Shanghai.<\/p>\n

LVNENG S5 battery life<\/h2>\n

With its two 60V26Ah Samsung batteries, the LVNENG S5 can travel no less than 140km. That's well beyond the scooters I've tried so far.<\/p>\n

In practice, I traveled about 30km at medium to fast speed, and only drained 50% from one battery.<\/p>\n

The Samsung battery pack in the LVNENG S5 weighs 9.8 kg and is easily portable. The major advantage is clearly that there's no need to recharge constantly, allowing the LVNENG to travel long distances without the fear of running out of power.<\/p>\n

The scooter can be recharged directly from an electrical outlet, or by removing the battery from under the saddle.<\/p>\n

Autonomy alone constitutes an undeniable advantage.<\/p>\n

Power and features<\/h2>\n

The LVE S5 has a motor power of 3000W (German BOSCH quality motor), and high acceleration. The scooter thus goes from 0 to 45 km\/h in less than 5 seconds, which sometimes constitutes a somewhat abrupt acceleration at first. You must therefore be vigilant when starting and have both hands firmly held on.<\/p>\n

The scooter is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear. The discs are ventilated to increase braking efficiency and prevent extreme overheating that can lead to thermal expansion of the disc. The LVNENG S5's braking system is EBS certified.<\/p>\n

Reliability, comfort and design<\/h2>\n

In terms of driving, nothing to report, the scooter is easy to steer. You just have to get the hang of it at the start. The saddle is not the most comfortable for either the buttocks or the back, but perhaps that depends on each person's body shape.<\/p>\n

An advantage and not the least: the locking system with the alarm, and the possibility of turning on the scooter without having to put the key in the lock. Furthermore, the mirrors are ultra-practical, very large, and the scooter can be equipped with the Z\u00e9fal system, allowing the smartphone to be placed right in front of the handlebars, all connected to a USB port so you never run out of battery on the phone!<\/p>\n

Finally, the design is rather futuristic. We are far from the fashion for retro scooters, but it doesn't matter, to tell the truth, the autonomy and practicality of this scooter trumps everything else...<\/p>\n
